KVK 1st class case, no silhouette but with Swasi.... Opinions needed

Hello everyone - hope to get some opinions on this KVK 1st class Case, I have only seen the ones without the swasi, just the silhouette printed on the dome of the case, but what about this one - there's markings on the inside of the ase, too. It came with a L/11 marked Deumer KVK.
Best Regards and thanks a lot!
    Rainer

Looks like a good case. I think this version is a bit harder to find.

Thank you, hankmeister - do you have a clue who made it?

A very nice example of the rarer KVK 1st class with swords case

Thanks Allen - would you dare to tell me an approximate manufacturing year?

                Rainer,

                I wish I could!!

Maybe Marcus can suggest a date.

I personally think that it would be early, rather than late war because of the detail of the KVK on the top of the case.

The award itself is an early tombak piece. If original to case, this would make it early.??? Any way of knowing this, Rainer?

I don't know if the cross originally came with the case, sorry

The case is made by D&B, this case is the same dome form as their EK case (i.e the same shell as is the 2597 code for the base)

Not all detailed motif's are an early guise or indentifier - but the fact this case has the catch/surround, specific outer covering etc I'd say early yeah, but early-mid to mid warish perhaps as the base cut and the covering plus the pile don't exactly point to any earlier in construction example (as best as we can take an educated guess)

KB base version more flat than the domed version as in the D&B

This one came with a Deumer and from a vet along with many other Deumer awards/items.

It is latter war, a paper hinged, no catched case made form cardboard with a cheap 'brushed' base.

Rainer, can you do a close up plan view of you case motif ? We could for the hell of it compare the motif's

Here's my zinc marked L/11 for comparision too. I love this one - this comes cased too.
