Wearing WWII awards (original and 1957 version) on official uniforms was never allowed in post war Austria.

This is Captain Francisco Mena Díaz, veteran of the Spanish Blue Division. He fought on the Eastern Front and was awarded the EKII, among other decorations.

      He passed away in 2009.

A rare photo of Gen. Emilio Esteban Infantes, KC holder from the Blue Division.

The picture was taken on October 12th, 1961 during a commemoration for the veterans who fought in the battle of Krasny Bor.

You can clearly see he's wearing the Knight's Cross.

This is a very rare and interesting postwar photo! A group of PLM holders gather during the 50's in Germany.

The only one I can recognize is former Generaloberst Bruno Loerzer in the front row.

                    Any others?

                      Zoom on the holders!
