      The airman is a pilot or WSO Oberleutnant and wears the cuff title of one of the tradition named wings, in all probability that of JaboG 31 "Boelcke", as Obleser was the CO of the wing from 1963 to 1966.

        Sepp,

        The Luftwaffe man in #2147 is wearing an Anti-Partizan badge rather than a Panzer Assault Badge I believe. A more rare combination for an airman.

          Yes of course, what a silly mistake by my part!

          I put PAB instead of APB..

              It makes you wonder what he was in the middle of. I would say transferred from frontline where he won the EKs to behind the lines/ anti-partisan work where he won the the APB and perhaps the KvKI. His service history would explain it.
