Great image Sepp ! super to see him wearing a cufftitle, as the wearing of titles was not allowed on BW uniforms, instead a ribbon bar device was permitted, this is how cuff titles and arm shields were worn on traditional civilian German jackets ! Great photograph.............
    Prost ! Steve.

This is not a 57' piece, but a very rare postwar photo (maybe the only one) of dutch volunteer SS-Untersturmführer Gerardus Mooyman.

Mooyman's wartime KC got lost after 1945 (possibly stolen or taken by the enemy), so he bought a replacement after the war.

In 1987 he died in car accident.

Amazing footage of Karl Dönitz and Erich Raeder in 1957! You can see Raeder wearing a miniature RK on his jacket (or maybe a pin of some kind?)

Reunion of German veterans on June 20th, 1955, of the Stahlhelm association led by former GFM Albert Kesselring.

Since it was in 1955, most of those decorations aren't denazified, I guess.

Hi Sepp, If they were wearing awards with Swas, which it looks like they were, I'm surprised the German authorities didn't crack down on them ! Interesting ?
