        Amazing to think about Heusinger and the bomb plot. The memories these guys must have carried with them after the war.

            I know this doesn't have to do with 57 awards, but please bare with me. These are photos I've been digging out from several documentaries made during the 70's and 80's.

            All of them are former RKTs but with a different perspective. Maybe Tom remember some of the their faces

            First set: Hasso von Manteuffel - Freiherr von der Heydte - Adolf Galland - Robert Olejnik

                            I was given this same pic along with a war time pic by Heder. Eberhard was just one of many former W-SS who served in the Bundeswehr. At a OdR reunion I ate at the same table with him and Ernst Barkmann. Tom
