                  Estonian war veteran Olaf Taru holder of the IAB and the "Frozen meat" award, among others.

                  Taru died on 29.12.2009 and was given a military funeral.

                                His photo appears on p. 3 CUMULUS; president of the WEISSEN MÖWE WELS from 1954-58.

                                So ... if he is a qualified engineer .... and thrice has been mentioned associated with gliders/flying clubs .... perhaps he was a luftwaffe ace?
