I am absolutely sure that you are mistaken here. His wartime cross survived the captivity as well as his B-type Diamonds. The A-typewas always home. The story of the RK was already covered in the book "Holt Hartmann vom Himmel", the sets are shown in my RK book. I wasat the home of the current owner and saw the pictures of Hartmann, the new owner and the medals (RK, EL, ELmS, Diamonds, Flugbuch, pilot and observer wit diamonds and both his 1957 ribbon bars, he had two)
