Hi Tom! Here you are gonna find most of Peiper's postwar photos: http://peiper.reibert.info/gallery/1.../1956-1976.htm

I could't find any of him wearing his 57 RK. In fact, I doubt he ever wanted one (or given his). He had his wartime piece, right?

    Regards,
    Sepp.

        Thank you Sepp !

Thanks you Sepp for the info. I've seen almost all of those photos before. I guess maybe he never did have a 57 cross ? I don't know if he even still had his war time RK ? Like I said the photo he sent me was a war time photo of him wearing his Oakleaves & Swords. Tom

Many people here told me his wartime RK is in the hands of his son. WAF member Markus knows better, you could ask him.

Sepp, This is a super nice group! I noticed the TDB ribbon is missing on the ribbon bar, but in the photo & mini 's it's there ? I guess he had another ribbon bar ? Do you have any info on his dates of awards ? This would have been a very nice addition for my book...oh well. Thanks VERY much for posting !!!!! Tom

German veteran's death card. You can clearly see his 1957 ribbon bar.
