This is my example. This comes from the sleeve of my father's IKE jacket. He served in the 10th Army HQ on Okinawa 1945-46. I have no idea what the patch is for.

The 2nd and 4th Ranger Inf Cos (Abn) also jumped at Munsan-Ni. The 2nd is credited with taking the first NK PoWs during this action.Comment

Hand embroidered 187th Herman patch. Its hard to tell from the scan but theres a floral pattern on the base silk material. Does anyone have any information on this patch? Me and a friend of mine will have a 4 table display set up at the national 187th convention in Nashville. Hoping one of the vets will be able to shed some light on this very unique 187th patch.
