    This is my example. This comes from the sleeve of my father's IKE jacket. He served in the 10th Army HQ on Okinawa 1945-46. I have no idea what the patch is for.

              Japanese made 2nd BN 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team patch commemorating Operation Tomahawk. Operation Tomahawk was the 2nd Combat Jump for the 187th in Korea on March 23 1951 at Musan-Ni.

                  The 2nd and 4th Ranger Inf Cos (Abn) also jumped at Munsan-Ni. The 2nd is credited with taking the first NK PoWs during this action.

                        A bullion United Nation Airborne 187th RCT Angels From Hell patch

                          Hand embroidered 187th Herman patch. Its hard to tell from the scan but theres a floral pattern on the base silk material. Does anyone have any information on this patch? Me and a friend of mine will have a 4 table display set up at the national 187th convention in Nashville. Hoping one of the vets will be able to shed some light on this very unique 187th patch.
