As mentioned, the foliage is folded in the same technique as mine (edges folded inward and the knot). As a result, I was having difficulty (like in mine) finding an example of the edge of the foliage. It was not until I went to the back of the helmet that I found this:When you go home

Very nice find, Walter! Looks like screwpine to me. Tied in a way similar to your helmet. Too bad we don’t know where it was picked up.

It’s great to see this thread come back to the surface again. Excellent research and wonderful helmets shown - the additional helmet shown by Walter adds more weight, I believe, to these all being genuine pieces.
