Help With Translation on IJA Type 90 Combat Helmet

I was hoping to get some help translating the kanji on this IJA Type 90 Combat helmet. The soldier added the white cloth around the chinstrap just above the chinstrap retaining ring on the rear of the helmet. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Jeremy

    Hi Jeremy-san,

    Your photos are upside down.

The owner's name is (Ike Kame or Ike Game) - Pond Turtle in English.

Can you please post the photos of the helmet. There might be a manufacture marking somewhere around the inner rim, if look carefully.

    Cheers!

      Taka,
Thank you very much for the help with the translation. I thought I might have had the pictures up side down . So would this just be the last or surname of the soldier and not his first name? Thanks again.

Forgot to mention that this would be his Last/Family Name.

Here is my IJA helmet by the way. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=710957

Also has a name cloth on.

        Cheers!

Thanks again. Do you know how common of a last name this is? Without a first name I imagine it would be pretty hard to try to ID the solider.

            Hi Jaremy-san,

That is a rather rear name. It' s really hard to identify without the full name.

            Cheers!
