            Excellent collection! The photo is great too.

            What did you end up doing with that medal bar that had been pieced together? Did you manage to get a refund? Or did you hang on to it?

              I guess you are asking about the EKII/TWM/Liyakat Bar, nope I did not get it

                Hello all

                This is the part 1 of the update I have promised for this week. Sorry for the fast photos but the mine accident in Turkey depressed me so much. In a few days I would try to make more clear photos, please forgive me.

                The document and the medal on the left came together and they belong to an Unteroffizier who worked at the military hospital (Haydarpasa) in Istanbul during WWI.

                There are two new photos, one from Anzac Sector and showing just south of Lone Pine, and the other shows the debris after the evacuation at Seddulbahir.

                        Not a War Medal but I would like to share my new belt buckle, an LS type WWI Ottoman Belt Buckle which is coming from New Zealand!
                        (these are the seller photos) I will make a comparison photo with an SL type buckle when it arrives.

                          Another TWM Grouping

                          Latest addition to my TWM family a grouping of Bernhard Kniep. Preuss. 4. Ersatz Division. The grouping includes;

                          Medal bar with EKII/Hanseatic Cross/Hindy wt. Swords and a separate Turkish War Medal (Snail Tugra and Egg Gazi wt. strwberry enamel pattern)

                          Ribbon Bar EKII/Hanseatic Cross/Hindy wt. Swords/Turkish War Medal

                          EKII Document dated 28 Sep 1916
                          Hanseatic Document dated 18 Jul 1916

                          and some photos of the owner Bernhard Kniep.

                              I found out that the EKII is marked ''D'' does anyone know the maker or have another ''D'' marked cross to compare with?
