I’m suggesting that all three U-boat badges with the “cross over M” mark and also the unmarked solid Tombak U-boat badge from Kai Winkler’s site are post-WW2.
Put another way, every badge shown in this thread so far is post-WW2 except for your original Tombak Schott badge (with the replaced main pin) and the original Tombak hollow-back U-boat by S&L.

Do you think that the design with the straight ribbon holding the wraith is post ww2? Or are there legit versions of that design (manufactured before 1945)? Is it linked to a specific maker?

I assume you're talking about the plain vertical ribbon just underneath the crown. That's a good question.
It's not the design of any of the currently known makers (Schott, Meybauer, AWS, Juncker, S&L, Deumer and supposedly Beco) and most of the examples of this type seem to be fakes, but could it have been copied from an unknown wartime design?
Here's what I think is another fake (on the red background) but below it a zinc example with a more convincing reverse setup that I'm not so sure about. For now I'll keep an open mind.
Best regards,
