Looks like all of those crosses have a similar core and minor differences maybe because cores are cast, I think the cross in question was cleaned, that is why it looks kind of shiny and new, I also like the wear to the bidding and the core looks like cast iron and I haven't seen any fakers doing cast iron cores yet.

      ....what details don't you like?

...anyone has pictures of other similar type crosses that they think are fakes?

The frame does not look to be made of silver to me and 1813 frames
are silver. But that might just be lighting.

The thing that I really notice is the that the beading on the 9 o'clock
shows a heavy amount of wear yet the outer edge of the frame still
has that thing line where the frames were pressed. That line shouldn't
be there. On the 9 o'clock arm----or at all.

I think those marks where it should be cut to, but they made it wider, also the shape of frames looks more like prinzen , .... how wide is that cross? Yes, it is kind of wierd uneven wear.....maybe was worn on medal bar and some how one side was more exposed to wear then other.

What about the core, anything questionable there?

I find the overall finish of this cross to be too symmetrical, and way too clean. It just does not have that look about it that gives me confidence. The core looks modern to me. Perhaps in hand it looks better, but the seams on the frame edges are strange as well.

The core looks off to me. I know that's not very technical and it is hard to
explain when talking about an 1813. The date looks week and the crown
looks "small". Most of the 1813s have week details and worn and soft details
but even if the details have soft edges from wear, they still have
a certain amount of Chunkiness about them ( I know--not very techincal)
This is especially evident in the crown of the cross in question. To me (and I
have know way to know this for sure,) my opinion is that this core was cast off of
                a possibly good original.

These are just my impressions. We all have to decide for ourselves before
hitting the "buy it now" button, but I would not spend any of my money on
                this piece.

With new pictures the wear looks more evenly, I still think the cross was just cleaned up including the core, fakers usually trying to make the item look old - which is not hard to do, ...and I don't see any stronger details on cores of other crosses, not that easy to cast an iron core.

...is there rivets I see on one side of the cross?

I know the cross has been cleaned, I got that info from the previous owner.
As for the 2 rivets, I am not sure why they are there, or what they are. I think that maybe at some point it was done to hold it together.
I checked again and the frame is 100% silver, with a strong magnetic core, three piece construction.
