                The two small circular marks on the frame of the cross posted by jozefhess at the start of this thread look nothing LIKE rivets to me...??

                They simply look like the small circular mark clearly visible on the lower 9 o'clock arm of the dodgy "1813" ek2 in this thread... http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...60&postcount=1

                Would like to see these so called 'rivets' close up if poss...

                  It looks like rivets to me because those marks only on one side and ...coincidently..??? a cross from each other.
