Super large document grouping of a husband and wife

    Hi Guys,

Yesterday I was given a super large document grouping of a husband and wife. The husband fought in WWI and the wife was a nurse during the war.

After the war he joined the Stahlhelmbund and during the second war he was a reserve officer but did saw some action during the end of the war.

During the second war she was still a nurse and helped out as well.

There is so much like: his WW1 soldbuch, ausweis, several award documents (very big in size), militairy photo albums, Stahlhelm bund membership booklets, WWII Wehrpas, award docs, WWII photo's, post-war ausweis etc, etc, etc.

From her there's her WWI nurse pass, Photo albums taken in the hospital, several feldpost from soldiers (a lot), WWII nurse pass and more and more.

Also their son is visible in photoalbums. He was with the hitler jugend. Holiday pictures taken at Berchtesgaden, the Berghof, Salzburg and much more.

The grouping is so huge that it will take me some time to upload all the pictures. So if there is anybody who is a big fan of WWI related groupings PM me.

This grouping is not my interest and will sell it. So any info on value would be appriciated.

Tommorow I will start uploading the pictures. I cannot post it all cause it will take so long. But please wait till I am finished which I will announce in the final post.

    Thanks in advance.

Ok guys, here we go. I still haven't got the time to take pictures of every single piece of paper, but we have a good start. I'll start with his documents and then hers.

First up is an overall picture of the pile that I have to give you guys an indication of what job there is to be done.

Next are three pictures of him. On the back it says they're taken in 1917 and his EKII award document which is huge in size.

Up next is his militairy photo's from one of his albums. This album consists 54 photo's regarding WWI and a couple of Wehrmacht photo's. I am not going to show them all, just a couple I think are interesting.

First one is a picture when he was on leaf in some city. The church in the back looks a lot like the church on the document I showed earlier in this thread.

First picture is with his future wife, which he met in a lazarett. She was a nurse there. The second needs no explanation. I just love that tank.

Those are the last ones I'll show.

Tommorow I'll continue with the Weimar period when he joined the Stahlhelm bund.

                              Thanks for looking.
