            OK Werner AFTER I find mine, THEN I look for yours! (NO LONG SERVICE-- there is a strange "clue!! )

            The peacetime Orders after 1897 would not be an issue for a bar like your second one, with two awards from OTHER states. But--if that even IS the Brunswick House Order ribbon on my ribbon bar-- I'd expect a NATIVE Brunswicker to have mounted his own Home State Award before the long service etc.

                      ...there exists two other officers in 1914 ranklist with the brunswick life-saveing medal...

                      Leutnant von Werlhof HR 17
                      Leutnant dR Grimm Reserve-TrainAbt 10

                      maybe one them is the wearer of your ribbon bar...
