Death of the vulture.

Interestingly, the back has a hand written note dated 31st March 1913 so quite a long time before the start of the war.
The card is sent by a man to his mother. He explains that he is repairing a road 15kms from Ypres. He complains that it is like a desert with only beer(!).

Terry, could you show a pic of the reverse of this card please showing the note you refer to? Could the date maybe be 1916 or 1918?? Cheers, Torsten.
