That I haven't explored either. I have not studied and only what I read on forums that they lost their license due to Aryan issues. If that is the case, then maybe they could have shut down.

I see you chopped off Ratisbon's watermark. Buy it. Post it. I'm sure there will acres and acres of believer posts.

Why not post this one with the "M" () mark on the bottom.

          "
A high quality 1930s period time Prussian Pour le Mérite. Machine-woven neck ribbon probably of an early date.
The order is "M" marked to the bottom of the lower cross arm. Furthermore "800" silver stamped twice to the rings. Original gilding."

As noted, I was asking for advice as I know little about these. Wading into waters I have limited experience to opine on. So the outcome, whether a fake or original didn't really matter one way or the other.

As there was no clear answer, I have already decided to pass on it.

There was no attempt to hide anything. I was just trying (not really successfully) to enlarge and enhance the photos for greater clarity to provide the best photos for people to see.

I'm not permitted to have an opinion on this forum. Unless I say, might be, could be, yeah you could be right, wow good thoughts, hmmm yeah, let's keep looking into this. With that, no comment.

If I was interested in an item and wanted opinions before pulling the trigger I would hide the source as well. It wouldn't be the first time someone around here snaked an item from someone while they were waiting on an answer from the forum.

                  And yet you did.

You are permitted to have input relevant to the item being discussed. But I thought you had self exiled.

Buy Preveter's book "Prussian Blue". There is no grey area in these awards. Oops there I go again. But that was a positive post. Not responding to nonsense.

I am permitted. That should be my signature.

LoL. Yes that always is something to keep in mind. But being an auction and not a 'buy it now", I wasn't worried of some "snaking". It's all fair and open. Let the highest bidder win . So no reason to hid it.

I seriously was just trying to make the photos larger.

And thanks to everyone for the input help. Greatly appreciated. I'm still reading through "Regular122's" threads.

So both of you making digs at me has WHAT to do with the PlM???

                            Double standard.

You punish me for passionately defending the real stuff and you both go personal. But if I protest, you kick me out. You think people don't see this?
