Thanks Dave and Ade,
It makes sense that the aircraft would be British, given that the Museum housing the aircraft I posted, was during the Cold War, a British Air Base in the British Sector of Berlin. I am still curious about the emblem of an anchor and rope on the fuselage of the aircraft however, and would really be interested in knowing more about this aircraft. Thanks for setting the record straight. Initially, I wrote down information about each aircraft out there when I visited the museum. But somewhere along the line, I seem to have misplaced the paper upon which I wrote all the aircraft details down. Consequently, I don't know anything about the MIG-17 with the unusual nose-cone.
