Here's an expansion for you, one that I'll be adding to the MorPeh loadout from post 467, as I found an actual Nii Stali 6B12-2!
Its really annpying to use, and I understand why they were never adopted in large numbers.
The 6Sh92-2 webbing can be completely attached to the armor, but putting it on when loaded is then awkward as hell...

The front plate pockets are encased within the softarmor carrier, and the backplates have pockets on the outside of the softarmor packet.
For some reason the backplates are made of aluminum, and the front actually steel.

I'll be making some new pics of the kit within several days. I just need to find some time first.

    Cheers,
    Michel

Finally it's dry outside, picture time! As I said in the previous post, an upgrade of the kit from post 467, the reference photo from there still applies.

Russian MorPeh circa 2002, Caspian Fleet.

      Berezka KZM uniform
SSh40M helmet with VSR cover (I do have a Flora cover, but it looks really bad on this helmet)
Flora Nii Stali 6B12-2 body armor
      Flora 6Sh92-2 vest

      Cheers,
      Michel

Fixed up the loadout from post 135, some bad mistakes fixed.

        Russian late WW2 uniform

        Telogreika winter suit
        SSh40 helmet
        Leather belt
        SVT-40 Tokarev magazine pouch
        Extra ammunition pouch
        SVT-40 Tokarev bayonet
        RGD33 grenade pouch
        Valenki felt boots
        Ushanka fur hat
        Saperka pouch

In other news, I've also made some Nato loadouts over time, and in total I now have 250 loadouts, and I'm going to be getting rid of some parts of my collection, because I have lost complete interest in some fields. For example, I'll probably put over 90% of my Post-1991 Balkan stuff for sale, and have already started selling my 4 Russian FSB loadouts.
I don't know what more I'll sell, but I'll be selecting whatever doesn't interest me soon.
Don't think this'll be the end of my collection though, I'll just take a different approach, and will probably only actively expand pre-1991 fields as of now.

        Cheers,
        Michel

Hi, something to say about your Polish 1980's set. The ushanka is wrong -it's an ORMO's (Ochotnicze Rezerwy Milicji Obywatelskiej- Volunteer Reserve of People Police) pattern and the trousers are probably in wrong camo. If the print is black, not green, than it is a pattern for navy and air defence- not the regular infrantry.

Yeah the pants is a known mistake. It's a bit dark-grey instead of green like the jacket, but I could never find the right color.
If I ever do find cheap good color pants I might fix this.

And thanks about the ushanka, luckily it's only an extra piece, as I consider the helmet the main headgear for this set.

I find the Chinese outfit very interesting and have just the AK to finish it off.
If ever want to sell it drop me a line.Thoe's runners are very interesting.

Thanks, I won't sell this one though, but you could get all the gear dirtcheap on ebay. Just these suits are getting harder to get lately.
And it's hard to imagine they actually wore these shoes to war back then, they're as thin as socks.

Also, got some armors in today. First one is the Cifra 6B33 I've been waiting on for ages. Sadly a size 3 couldn't be found so I had to make do with a size 2. Sadly this means my size 3 plate doesn't fit.
For some reason it arrived with 2 plate aprons. The SADF canteen also arrived today, so that's why it's in the same pic.

And then a very cool early 90's armor, the early version of Classcom's Korund.
They basically took the design of the Kora-1M (Kora-1 with different padded shoulderstraps and bigger plate), added detachable shoulder and neck armor, 2 packets of softarmor front and back instead of 1, and some side armor.

Soon I'll make some pics of my Permyachka-M kit, and I'll probably add the Korund to a 90's SOBR loadout, which I will also upgrade with a helmet some other time.

                    Cheers,
                    Michel

I take it by SADF you mean South African Defense Force.I Collect 32 Battalion and
other South African gear from the 70 and 80 such as jumpsmocks and Recce items.
                      Cheers Chris.

Yes exactly, I'm slowly working on 2 loadouts since a while, 1 from the 70's with the p70 webbing, and another with the p83 battle vest. Pretty nice stuff, I like the Nutria color.
I don't know a lot about the 32 battalion though, just that they had some very nice camo stuff.

                        Cheers,
                        Michel

Yes the 32 Battalion has some very interning camo gear and clothing.
The African country's have some great camo schemes.I have Rhodesian and Angolan camo.
Lots of Cuban and Portuguese gear and uniforms.
                          Cheers Chris.

Yeah some patterns are very cool, especially the brushstroke type camo's.
I did make a Portuguese Ultramar War loadout a while ago, also pretty nice stuff!

And now a loadout I've been waiting to finish for ages.

Russian Permyachka-M complex by Kirasa, ca 2013-2015.

Late type Cifra camo BZK coverall
                            Nylon belt
Leg-armor flaps (attached to the belt)
6B7-1M helmet with cover (not actually part of the complex)
                            6B34 type 3 goggles
                            MZ mask with detachable face-armor
                            6B33 body armor with plate-apron
                            6Sh105 vest
                            Gloves with thin armor-layer
                            Folding sitting-mat
                            6B38 backpack
                            Boots

                            Extra gear:
KMZ snow oversuit, later designated 6Sh119
Flora winter layer, I ordered it in Cifra, but received Flora
                            Cifra 6B34 pouch
                            6Sh105 RPK magazine pouch
                            Groundsheet in pouch

The suit is almost completely made of kevlar, aside from some thin breathing fabric parts covered by the body armor, and it also has extra kevlar parts throughout,
here's an idea of where the soft-armor coverage ends. It has internal softarmor at the shoulders, knees and elbows, and when the arms are raised to hold a weapon,
that armor is also oriented towards the front, effectively covering the wole arms together with the shoulderparts.

                            https://scontent-amt2-1.xx.fbcdn.net...54910637_o.jpg

Still more or less a work in progress, I'd still like to get the correct Kirasa helmet, extra kevlarflaps for on the gloves, a folding mat, possibly more I don't remember.

                            Cheers,
                            Michel

And here's 2 new armors I just acquired.

Early 90's Russian vest made by Armokom, not sure what type. I've seen all older types called SK randomly, but no clear info about the many different types of it, and the tag just says the same as many other old Armokom vests.

There's a set of padding inside of it, really nasty stuff. A layer of soft cotton like down, with several layers of woven plastic attached, same as bigbags are made from, and it sheds bits of plastic everywhere when taken out.

I added the plates because I had them laying around, yes they are both backplates, but they actually came like this inside a previous vest in which they were actually carried together like this. The left is 3mm, the right one 5mm thick.

And another vest arrived today, sadly no plates, but I'll hope to add them sometime.
Classcom 6B12-4 in VSR, nicely faded on most parts.

United with my 6Sh92-4 vest. I hope to make a full kit with this soon.

                              Cheers,
                              Michel

How are they for weight and water resistance?
