The Bullion one? I'll get you one.
I also work on the different Types of Cap Badges, but as they don't care about Variations in the Storages it's hard to find the right ones.
I heard that LHBW is out of money and will stop business soon?
    Is that true?
Maybe they go back to the good old Army Stores System, away from Private Sellers Companies.

LHBw has some problem with the availability of cash due to foul deals of conjoined companies .... but a loen from the government will solve these problems.

Consequence of this incident will be kicking out the private shareholder making the LHBw a 100% government owned company. So on customers side there will be no change ...

So back to the Roots. A Company serving the State in State ownership.

Silly privatizing-mania in Germany was allway's Stupid.
Service with the Post Office went down and prices up, I have problems every month, that Parcels coming back because of lazy workers. Adress not found, but the Adressee lieves there since 40 Years and so on.
Lack of Personell in Hospitals, hey who cares about the Patients. My Stepdad is in Coma because of a Really Stupid Mistake, nobody can understand. In 5 Minutes I leave to see him, and we don't know if he comes back or not. so it doesn't surprises me that the LHBW System didn't worked.

            Nico,
Patients are cash generating commodities in this world.
            A source of income.
Back in the days when you were sick; you were a patient.
            Now you're a client.

I received the last of the newly released Verbandsabzeichen today. I think I now do have a complete collection of machine woven Verbandsabzeichen, so I thought I would share what I have collected so far. I pinned the patches on cloth covered styro boards in pairs. Machine woven patch on the left, hand embroidered bullions on the right.

First board: Bundesministerium der Verteidigung (MoD), Kommandobehörden (Higher Commands), Korps und Panzerregimenter plus Multinationale Stäbe/Verbände.

Second board: Heeresamt, Ämter des Heeres (Army Office, other Army Commands) Schulen (Schools) and Lehrverbände (Demonstration units).

Fith board: Heererstruppenkommando and attached Brigades and Sanitätskräfte der Bw.

As you might have noticed there are still several gaps on my boards. I'm now looking out for the last missing patches, all hand embroidered/bullions:

                        Ausbildungskommando (new, not available yet)
VN Ausbildungszentrum (new, not available yet)
                        Panzerbrigade 20
                        Heimatschutzbrigade 53
                        Panzerregiment 100
                        Panzerregiment 200
                        Panzerregiment 300
                        ABC Abwehr Lehrbataillon

If you have any of these extra and for trade or sale, please let me know! I would also like to ask if anybody has hand embroidered patches of Panzerregiment 100, 200 , 300 and would like to add a picture of these. I know that they do exist but was unable to even get a picture of them during the last year.
I wrote a wantlist of the 161 different patches but can't upload it, I suppose for technical reasons. If anybody is interested in such a list please let me know, I'll forward it via pm.

A truly remarkable accomplishment. Most collectors would have either given up or lost their sanity well before they made it even halfway through such a project.

I think you should be commended - I doubt that there are any museums with as complete a collection as this.

                              Regards

Kees, TJ and Mathomhaus thank you very much for your kind words. I appreciate it!

An update of board No. 5. I added different types of machine embroidered variants. Unfortunately I do not know much about these patches except that thes kind of patches were and still are worn today.

Upper row: Machine embroidered on ripped base material (on the left) and "glittery" base material (right).
Second row: Machine embroidered on felt base material. These patches can be found still today, especially on privat purchased uniforms.
Bottom row: Machine embroidered patches with separate borders. These appear to be the oldest type of machine embroidered insignia.

Some further manufacturer's errors (top right) and those subdued patches that are sold be the LHD (former KKBw)
