I got tired or my badly assembled NCO Schibluse, so I pulled everything off and started over again. Fortunately I had NCO cord in similar used condition of the correct length for this jacket! Here is the result.

P.S. this was my first time sewing the cord around the neck. It was as difficult as I expected!
