            OK Luc!!
            The last one.

Sometimes you could shoot a veteran. He kept one title as a souvenir
The "10 commando "title has been on the BD for ages, and the Belgium title has been applied at the end of WW2.

              Stunning Pieces Marc!
How many of these "Belgium" titles were made do you think? Must be a very rare item!
              Cheers, Luc

                Thanks Luc!
I don't know how many different "Belgium" titles have been made.
I have a lot of the khaki ones (red on khaki), like the Belgian commando's used before end of the war.
But never have seen a printed one.
The only printed ones I have are the Belgium RAF titles. White on blue.

And how many different N°10 commando titles have been made? I don't know.
I know there are some other variations.
                Marc

                  Hi Marc,
Sorry I was a bit unclear with my question: I wondered what the total production number was of "belgium" titles, irrespect of the design. Or rephrased: how many Belgium troops in exile were there?
                  Cheers, Luc

                    My mistake Luc, sorry.

In the army before september 1944 (liberation of Belgium) there are about
                    120 Belgian commando's, 200 in the S.A.S and about 2100 in the
Brigade Piron (infantry), together with some 140 people of Luxembourg.
And ofcourse some nurses and A.T.S. (don't know how many) and ofcourse
the merchant navy, RAF, Belgian Navy, and S.O.E. (some 300 jumps in
occupied country, 75% of them came in hands of the Germans!!)

I don' know how many titles have been produced, there's also
the "luxembourg" title used by them in the "Birgade Piron". But that's a rare one!

                    Marc

That's a lovely title Luc and great images Marc

I sent you some close ups of the titles and I have still not got any replys even though you have made many other posts on the forum afterwards. If you gonna make such claims I would really like some real proof. I bought them in Poland long time ago and I wonder why you think that they are fakes? I have never seen any other "reproductions" of this item before in Poland. I will wait with the story from whom I bought them until I hear what makes them a fake.

Maybe a little off-topic, but had the Dutch a commando regiment too? (Like the belgian commando/sas etc)

Yes it did. The Dutch contingent was No.2 Troop, 10 Commando.
