A Dutch friend of mine, Kees Smulders, has written a short 8 page article about the Dutch troop. These were given to all who took part in the "Airborne Battle Wheels Oosterbeek" event last weekend in Arnhem. It is illustrated with many photos of the men and their insignia.

      Cheers, Ade.

        Jurryt,

          Thanks Luc for posting that.

3 DSK - IMO your titles are fakes - sloppy crude stitching, lack of detail etc.

Anyway, it's all subjective. Let's see what the others think. I could be wrong.

Let's see a pic of the front if possible - that is bound to clear things up. Cheers.

            There you go Jack:
I'm afraid DSK I'm with Jack, yours are likely to be made by cunnard.
            Cheers, Luc

Sadly I would also agree with Jack. These titles are bad and most likely were made in the Sub Continent.

              Cheers, Ade.

Yes, I think the front confirms our fears

might I add these are quite poor fakes IMO and now well known in the realms of special forces collecting

If anyone ever mention "Cunard" again...
I never bought from him, but if I see what he sells to people.
Sorry 3DSK but I'm afraid Ade and Jack are right. I know Jack has a good eye on it.

Well, my no 10 commandos dont match those that cunnards sell to 100% procent neither do they match 100& to the others shown here on the forum. I was rather curious since I bought them in Poland 1990, even before there was a real market for WW2 items. The idea that somebody would have smuggled in a pair of fakes in those days, just to sell them much cheaper in Poland does not make sence. Western curruency was rated very high compared to the polish zloty.

I've know a lot of Polish collectors in Poland on WW2 items before 1990. And I noticed a lot of fakes, already in those days.
