I was recently in England for a fleeting visit, dropped in and suprised my Dad for his 80th Birthday, whilst I was there I managed to spend a morning at the Imperial War Museum ... Here, a few pics of my visit

This particular example was produced in 1918 and belonged to B Company, 4th Battalion Royal Tank Corps. It was armed with a 6lb'er gun on either side and four .303 inch Hotchkiss machine guns. It is similar to the type used in the battle of Cambrai, late in 1917.

This example was a command version of the Jagdpanther. It was knocked out by allied gunfire in North West Europe and brought to England for evaluation by the British army at Chertsey.

This is whats left of the fuselage of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 Hess was piloting

This lovely tiled Eagle was built into the wall of a German residence in Baghdad facing the Tigris river front. It was removed on the orders of lieutenant General Sir Willian R Marshal, Commander-in-Chief, Mesopotamia Expeditionary force, after the capture of Baghdad on the 11th March 1917.
