there are many places you can search in Holland. The best places are along and around the former battlefields of operation Market Garden. Valkenswaard - Eindhoven - Best - Son - St. Oedenrode - Veghel - Uden - Grave - Nijmegen - Groesbeek - Driel - Arnhem - Oosterbeek - Doorwerth - Renkum.

Mind you, if the police in the Arnhem area catch you with a metal detector in the trunk of your car, you will be fined and detector confiscated without hesitation...
