Stoodle, I am also in LAH (haven't been to an event yet, but next month I will). I was wondering if you were going to any events in Kansas or Missouri anytime this summer, because I might have to meet up with you there?

K98 Make sure that you come to the Jefferson Barracks event, April 20 weekend, gotta check the dates. We have a good turnout, lots of vehicles. As a public event goes, it is quite good. After the battles on Saturday, we all go to a restaurant in Illinois, in uniform. The owner shuts down a room for us, great German food and beer.

What can I say those pictures are impressive. I have never looked into re-enacting but the Kalvalrie pictures were very interesting. It never occurred to me to have horses involved, that was what piqued my interest. Do the horses participate in the battles and maneuvers? Are they around when the rounds and explosions are going off? How do the owners "train" them to handle the noise, etc? I hope these questions aren't naive. Many Thanks, Zach

Ken, There are loads, I'm a member of 7./ Grossdeutschland and we have members from upstate NY down to Florida (http://www.grossdeutschland.com)

Get yourself along to the Reading ww2 weekend at Reading in June and see loads and loads of other units, both allies and axis
