Bloc 3

Its mission was area observation for the Fort de Fermont but also
annex buildings of the fort in the surrounding area.
The infantry fire control between Blocs 2 and 6 were another mission.
Therefor it was equipped with a periscope and two Model 30 machine
gun turrets, one covering the front and one covering the back of the
top of Bloc 4. Each machine gun turret is equipped with twin 7.5 mm
Model 30 machine guns.

Bloc 3 is equipped with
1 observation turret
2 twin machine gun turrets
1 machine gun turret

While on our way back to the parking after the visit we passed the personnel entrance where the french soldier died.
