MEDAL OF THE ORDER OF THE EAGLE WITH SWORDS 1943'S SILVER VERSION

Constitutes a double variant in my collection since, on the one hand is the version with legend in Latin characters and on the other is a rare variant of the medal since the version more known and more longstanding and manufactured is marked in the ring 30 but there was the version of the manufacturer MUNZANT WIEN that marked their medals in the profile as in the version with legend in Gothic characters... a rare variant because of this Medal due to its scarcity. As you can see, the conservation is excellent









Maker mark MUNZANT WIEN A 835 on the medal

By the way, this Medal is part of the first manufactured after the Ordinance of 1943 so that, as we can see, contains silver 835 thousandths of purity, while the later ones, marked 30 on the ring are manufactured entirely in zinc with bath on silver
