      Some luftwaffe objects. I will post some good pictures of the pilot later.

      A lot of these are fleamarket-found objects.

                              History means a lot to me. Here is a photograph of an american relative of mine. His father was born in Norway in 1882 and moved to the United States in 1899.

                              He served in the 99th Infantry Battalion which also had Norwegians in the unit.

                              * Northern-France – 25. june 1944 - 14. september 1944
                              * Rhinland (Würzlen - Aachen) – 15. september 1944 - 16. december 1944
                              * Ardennene-Alsace – 17. december 1944 - 18. january 1945
                              * Central-Europa – 4. april 1945 - 11. may 1945

                              He visited my grandparents in 1946 and gave them this photograph. My grandmother gave it to me and told me about him. A true hero.

                              Here are some documents my grandfather received from the Nazi authorities in 1945. He was randomly appointed to wear that armpatch (TN - Teknisk Nødhjelp). Technical aid. The organization was created by the Nazi authorities in Norway to provide assistance to businesses that were exposed to "events of war, sabotage actions". My grandfather never showed up at the designated spot and never even filled out the papers.
