Hi Guys,

Ok... the Luger is actually a repro. The gun laws in Australia make it almost impossible to own the real thing without going through a lenghty process of training and permits.
The pipe is not marked but came out of a Uniform sale of the period.
The Luger holster is KM marked

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the appreciation. it makes it worth while when we can share our collections with like minded folks who also enjoy and appreciate the work, effort and final result of a long and hard to achieve display.

Also a question was raised over the Bosuns whislte. Although i thought this was OK as it came straight out of a KM uniform sell in Germany along with the Schueztenshur displayed but another collector thinks its post war and bought for $10?? I now hear that they whistles are also M and eagled marked but are very rare. Does anyone have an opinion on this whistle and also any pictures of a period marked whistle?

About the KM sub forum ---- I think its time we needed our own section. As far as I can tell the interest in KM is definatey growing and it would be poinient that we can channel all the specific KM information into one easy sub forum........ So what is the decision regarding this, can we get a clear direction on the future of the KM thread please?

P.s - Ok found a pic of a KM marked bosuns whistle - reference. There is no doubt when you have one of these but there are surely other types of whistles as well as shown in the second picture that is a period example, opinions?
