I only just saw the fruits of this project for the 1st time yesterday after finally being able to access my collection and put all the pieces together!!

Nice KM display. As a side note my u-boat vet Edgar told me that when he was in basic or attending any of the trade schools he had to shorten the tails of his cap tally. He remarked one night in a pub a chap came in from one of the schools with the long tails and the regular guys took his cap and cut the tails of it. I guess this is where the term shaved tail comes from
