Now that would stand out in wartime photos Dave. A very unique cap clearly showing the use if different bolts of fabric.
I also like the fact that the insignia is untouched and the little piece of green soutache sitting between the peak and body.
          I love it.

                      Hi Dave,

I must admit that unless those straps are Luftwaffe, they really aren't a set that I would want in my collection.

                      Steve,
very nice display. I love the Luftwaffe sidecap. I do really like Luftwaffe items but, fortunately for Luftwaffe collectors, I'm committed to only collecting Heer otherwise my collection would just become ridiculously huge.
It's too large as it is.

I've added some pics of the 'new' collecting room which also happens to be a large tv room and gym. I've had to move out of my collecting room in order to make way for the new little addition that is due soon.

                      Mark

Mark G,, Gongrats on the new collection room, as always amazing displays..
Steve,, Again great displays and nice to see tropical Luftwaffe as well ..
Dave,, Love that interesting 2 tone 41 Lubstein, just shows what went
on when material was in short suply ..
Greg,, Good luck with the packing and moving back South ..

I have added a few shots of my most recent addition to my tropical headgear section, a pretty decent example of a Herman Meyer Cap, doesn't show well in my pics but it has enough wear to say it was actually used in 42 .. Sadly missing the chin strap and flap ..

                              Cheers Paul ..
