What I especially like about this Bergmütze is the inside unit marking : “14./Geb.J.R.136”.
The maker mark is unreadable : all that I managed to read is the top right word : “...Mützenfabrik”. Maybe someone could help me identifying the cap maker ?Last edited by Langemark; 12-02-2004, 04:49 PM.

Close-up on the insignia. Note that the shoulder straps are not true ‘tropical’ ones but (to my opinion) rather designed for the Windjacke as these are made of light cross-woven cotton cloth instead of the standard tighter woven tropical cloth.Last edited by Langemark; 12-02-2004, 04:50 PM.

Hi Mark,
SUPER nice tunic !
Could you post a close-up of the shoulderboards ? Judging the picture I doubt these to be for the Windbluse. I have a pair in this picture

It's Sunday, ...
... so let’s take the Sunday suit out of the wardrobe.
Most ‘combat-uniform-collectors’ will probably disagree but, to me, the M37 Geschmückte Feldbluse (ornamented tunic) represents the smartest of all WWII German uniforms.
