Thanks to Glen H. (Schulterklappen), I have completed the Medical Academy trifecta. Have posted the two with the metal devices somewhere in here before, but now I have an example with an embroidered device.

That embroidered strap is a beauty and must be one rare sucker! There couldn't have been many enlisted swine assigned as staff to the Medical Academy.

Finally! The Bunker is getting carpet! After 20+ years of looking at that ugly-ass stained concrete, I'm getting carpet. It's my Xmas present from the wife. Last year she bought me a uniform - and now this! I may be old & crabby, but I've got one hell of a wife.

What we got are carpet squares. They are each about 2' square and really go down pretty well - except for all the little notches I have to cut. At first I wasn't too sure about the color, but it turns out it is a very close match to the dark green on Waffenrock cuffs, etc., so it goes very well with the uniforms.

In the past I've always avoided showing the floor in the photos I post, but here's what it looked like.

I've got 3 rooms, with only the first one completed. Have some trim work, etc. to do before I can finish the other two up, but here's what that first room looks like now.

Is that slate gray like the early pants? I have heard that splinter pattern & water pattern hide stains very well. Where is the "Achtung! Motten Verboten!" sign?
