        Rich,

I never thought it would come to this either. A tunic here, a shoulder board there....

Suddenly, you're out of room. I don't know how it happened either.

Hi Sarge I enjoyed my virtual visit to your museum! What do your real-life friends/family's friends and the plumber think? How do you handle visitors and what has the reaction generally been?
          Curious to know.

I think the general public does not realize the hard work, early weekend mornings on the road, and huge effort behind assembling a collection such as yours. Instead they seem to wonder more about the motivation. I guess it makes them feel superior.

          Anyway, well done, Sarge!!!!

Well, I am my own plumber, electrician, etc., so that has never been a problem. My son is also a collector, so, except for wanting something now and again, that's moot. My wife knows I'm nuts but loves me anyway. And no one else sees it without an invite. And I only invite those with an actual interest in the hobby.

Speaking of wanting something - ready to give up that political tunic, yet? Oh, and the Luftwaffe NCO of Flight too..........

My latest tunic. Actually, I've had it for a while, but due to the lack of a mannequin, it's been on a hanger. (I just hate that. )Just an issue Waffenrock, and the moths have had several picnics there, but the light blue Waffenfarbe (for Transportation) is not all that common.

this is the first time i looked at this thread...
i have been fortunate enough to see Dave's collection in person.
I believe you get a taste for what the entire collection is but to see it in all its glory is truly a treat....

Very nice, that is one hell of a collection Dave,

Maybe one day mine would be like that, but I doubt it
Anyway, keep up the good work,

Do you have any Soldbuch, wehrpasses or award documents in your collection that you could post pictures of?

                        Regards

                          Phil,

Not an area I collect. This is the best I can do. First is a Kennkarte.

I'm not sure where to classify this. It's a 1938 leave pass for an SS-VT Senior Lance Corporal from the SS Regiment Deutschland. Became the Waffen-SS in 1939.
