Pre-war photo of a sailor off of the Graf Spee or Sheer. Either way nice hat tally. No identification on the sailor, no marking on the back at all

But a bit strange to me.

3.2.45 Holland (14.S.St.A.)

The 14.Schiffstammabteilung - when based in Holland - was in Breda.
Breda was liberated on October 29. 1944 by the 1st Polish Armoured Division.

I have no idea what your man was doing there on February 3. 1945.

Thank you for showing the back side.

The date 10.Aug(ust).44 fits much better with Breda.

The photo was sent to his brother or sister on 3.Febr(uar).45 but from where ? - not from Breda in my opinion.

When the photo of your man was taken, he was stationed at Noordwijk.

Today there is a museum in the area he served : "Atlantikwall Museum Noordwijk"

And in Dutch, English and German :
