Hi, was looking through my pics this morning, P38 pics in particular when I noticed to my horror that one of the pouches ended in the dreaded /0007 No! I have known for a long time that items stamped with 0/0378/0007 is the number used a lot by the makers of repro,fake equipment but also according to some forum members that not all equipment with the number ending in 0007 are fake. I have one repro spade carrier that has the stamp- 0/0378/0007. On closer examination I see that what some me told me is a Police P38 holster has the 0/0833/0007 stamped on it. So are we looking at a genuine holster here or have the fakers at last changed the stamp? I await some opinions. Thanks.

and shows identical markings to your one, the owner mentions they came from a Russian "horde"? Perhaps it might asking that user if he knows any more regarding their origin? -

I did a search on the forum for 0007 several posts showed up but not that one, I have a set of fake mp pouches with that number, maybe these holsters if they are ex horde then maybe one of the few examples of an original piece with that particular number, I think I've only seen one other piece with the 0007 No. that was original. I think that in Ukrainian stock were also bml holsters, as I heard those are from same stock. so I hope I bought original in price of used airsoft toy.Comment

I have another equipment strap that came from the Czech restamped horde with the same stamp, but is original wartime! Imo its a stamp used on reproductions but those are far inferior to the original materials...Last edited by 4th division; 09-29-2015, 11:36 AM.Comment
