have a look at the "3" in P38. Same as in the link of the repro.
Hans Zeug have shown an other holster with a different stamp.
In the meantime i got a holster with same stamp as the one which
Hans Zeug have shown us.
I have posted it here because i could not find this older thread again.

Rbn
refer to post = I have found fotos of a bml P38 holster that i had sold. Look at the sewing of the closestrap.
Same way, so i guess this holsters are real and made bei Römer in Neu-Ulm.
Looks good to me also, I had a similar one, they also smell right, can't beat the nose test ;-)Last edited by overthetop; 12-18-2015, 07:22 PM.

[QUOTE=duv;7108013]I have found also replica p38 soft shell holster with 0/0833/0007
IMHO the police eagle should never be on a RBn marked item, as they were separate purchasing agencies for different services. Police stamps should have a letter indicating police acceptance.
The RBn number refers to the national Purchasing Number, the first letters (0 to 9) shows the industry group, the 2nd group of four letters is the District Code (Kries) where the factory is located, and the last group of four letters is the unique individual number of that company in that particular Kries.
It is very suspect the District numbers changed on all these seperate items, but the actual factory identification number is the same! Plus they all appear to be from the same die set.

IMHO this is not correct. The RBNr can mostly be found on police holster.
The army-holsters have a 3 letter code.
