    Hi

Here are some more photos from restoration. As I said earlier, it was made from more pieces. Pot ( bottom part ) is marked 1939, upper part of pot is marked 1938, some parts are marked 1940 and 1942.

Towing hook was cutted away and replaced with new one, that match more with Czechoslovakian post-war trucks. Please, if someone has a good photo of this part from more sides, could you help us? Thanks for help.

    Regards

    Peter

We're these used in quantity? I wouldn't mind a look at the kubelwagen behind it though just a shame I am to busy tomorrow as I may have gone down to the showground.

                Gents

Today I started to clean my field kitchen 'vorderwagen' box. I noticed that there where under the painting some markings.
After some cleaning with aceton it revealed these markings on the side of this box.

Is there anybody who have a clue about this unit?

                Grtz

                    Thanks for your reply!

The box itself was found in Ronse (Belgium) it was left behind by the Germans in 1944.

If you have a closer look to the decal you will see a green X painted over the decal.

Result the kitchen is full of bullet holes.
Hi Crets, where in Arromanches did you find it? I'dd like to know because that's where I live!

Help!! looking for a field kitchen

I am actually great War reenactor, and I am on the hunt for a field kitchen. I am hoping to either get very detailed pictures and measurements, to possibly recreate one, or help from fellow Field kitchen owners and searchers on where to even start looking

                        Thanks

Hello. That sign is the tactical sign for a "Nachschubkompanie". The "2." probably means the second company (?) of whatever German unit was there at the time (where the Nachschubkompanie was part of). Hope this helps.

                              Thanks for the info!

After some more cleaning this is the result:

On the front I also found a small 7 painted
I also found the other parts of this vorderwagen last week.
This mean that I have everything to restore this vorderwagen in his former glory.

                              Grtz
