      Hello,

      Maybe you like these, nice original Quark packages. You don't see these very often.

      I've found a small stack of these at a shop cleaning in Germany last week.

                      Very interresting thread !
                      Maybe you are interrested to see the entrance in the german
                      telephone directory of this firm in 1942.
                      There were around twenty firms listed as producers of this kind of bread.

                        Just wanted to add a little curiosity...I always was under the impression
                        that Coca Cola was brought to Germany and Austria by the GI´s after the war...but have a look at this full page ad from the Reichstelefonbuch 1942...Enjoy !!!

                          Olivier thanks for the additional pictures. This is the first picture I've seen of a side locking Hecke carton.

                          Bernhard-thanks for the wartime ads. The coke ad is especially interesting. I'm not exactly sure when Coke production ceased in Germany, but 1942 is the latest ad I've seen.
