Another rucksack I would like to have some opinions on.
I know that many of these are classified as being early post-war civilian (see threads http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=219480 & http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...light=rucksack)
This example is in fact very close to the late variant of the medical type rucksacks (see old thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188539&highlight=medical+rucksack ).
Hence the reason I bought it for very little in order to do some study and comparison.
No markings have been found.
Red lined (not printed!) leinen material.
Rivetted closing-straps.
Typical german wartime metal hooks.
Note the interesting carrying-straps, made out of the same material as the rucksack itself. Has anyone ever seen similar feature?
Cheers
Jan
