    It is possible of course it are good one's, but I have seen them in repro (last show in La Gleize). The reason that they are difficult to find in my opinion is that after te war these where remouved by civilians using the bikes, because they had no use for them, and where simply trow away, like all other holders for weaponry.

        i would say from that photo that those bicycles are civvy bikes impressed into the military as the rear carrier rack is civillian and the front handlebars look chrome covered. I cannot be 100% sure though as the photo is not crystal clear.

          Could well be Matt, all I know is that my NSU has the military Pallas bearer and DRGM 1940 market Torpedo hub, I do believe the Germans pressed a lot of “civil” bikes in military service.

                I'm searching for a rear bearer thing, the Gepackstrager, anyone know where to get one
                I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
                Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

                  Presently in Ciney for the bigest militaria show in Europe. Managed to get a nice fahrrad today, see attahed, the seller also had some spareparts.
