Hi BNZ, just got my belt out. I am certain mine is post war. East German or BW/ Police I don't know?
As I mentioned it is similar to yours but now having looked at it again after several years, mine has the buckle rivetted into place and not stitched. This has to be a sure sign of it being post war? The buckle is injection moulded like yours (note the little pad marks) and is unmarked. I will include a couple of photos as I am sure people will find them of use?
My only concern, is, like Mike, these belts did not vary much at all between wartime and post war examples. Sorry if I have caused you concern but as you know in this hobby better safe than sorry
