I see an original Heer tunic with original SS insignias.

The sleeve eagle and chevron are placed very low.

Without a trail of ownership it's worth the sum of the parts ... a stripped Heer tunic and used SS insignia minus possibly the straps (?)

Based on the lining it is an earlier SS cut tunic, not Heer.

Restored SS Tunic, worth Sum of Parts. SS used of course WH Tunics with SS Insignias. But without a solid Proof what comes with a Tunic like this i would never pay more then what the Parts are worth.

I guess you failed to read Glenn's post. This is an early SS tunic. The insignias are appropriate for the time period used as well. your opinion is a useless assumption.

Really? And when i read his Post i must have then the same Opinion? I still have my own one. But in this Case i have the same one, so i guess you faild to read what i posted.... SS TUNIC with replaced insiginas....and nothing else is this for me. If my Opinion is a useless assumption for you, i don't really care. What means Insignias are appropriate for that Time Period? Is that they way you tell that they are original applied or not, good night then!? As far as i remember, that you can only tell when you have it in hand, and not when you look at some Pictures. As long as there is no solid proof that the Insignias are period on the Tunic and based on what i see at the Pictures, they are reapplied to me. Base Tunic is of course SS.

This is a nice SS cut M40 tunic with typical SS wide collar and 2 step liner and restored correctly. (as no doubt it was denazified...the majority were...)
very nice set up! I own its exact twin! (but with period added M36 collar, shortened and pocket bellows removed)

Too bad about the arm insignia placement tho. I agree. Too low. Should have read the regs.
