An item needs hand inspection to analyze patina of both sides, sewings and so on.
Nobody could give a serious opinion from these pics.

Ask to manage, other pics will not help you at all.
Could help only if you will find serious red flag / faults.
I ve managed some fakes Italian tunic/wrap/smock and only hand inspection will help.

          I agree with my friend.

I post the pictures of the wrapper for future reference otherwise this thread will be useless.

The wrapper seems to have been made in already used cloth and with no traces at all of any wear ...
Same position : hand inspection is the only solution to be sure !

The problem with the Italian printed cloth is even when its mint it looks used......

Well I took a chance on it. It's waiting for me in Holland where I will pick it up along with the SS field made (Zelt) tunic.
(I am attending the 75th anniversary of Market Garden)
The fatigue coat in SS camo was part of the lot so that's mine also. Note where the rank bar was mounted.
Better photos of both to follow as soon as its with me back in the States!

                        Nick,

That SS field made tunic is one that I sold back in December of last year on the E-stand to a Finnish member.

The so-called rank bar markings you are referring to are common to both sleeves at the same height on each sleeve, so definitely not cuff title either.

                        .
                        .
