I bet the BE are HB fabric ISSUE wraps.
      See the little button closure.
Just like the very short lived 4 pocket version, they are a bridging item testing HB cloth before full Dot cloth went into full swing.

Yes I think you are correct. I was specifically looking at the photo with the closure button on both the BE and Green HBT wrapper. More than just a coincidence. Most definitely an issue piece. Maybe one day one will turn up. Never know.

          pants

Maybe no pants where made in blurred edge ? all the pics I have seen they are wearing the black pants only . My money is on being a factory made item with limited distribution.

In my collection.... I was told the originals are in a Asian collection.
I believe there are 8/10 photos

Honestly I never understood why SS panzer crewmen would need camouflage clothing in general. Heer/luft/police panzer crewmen did not have issue camouflage. But I am glad they did. Pretty neat to collect. LOL!

I'd think it best to make one's self as inconspicuous as possible if the old Panzer was brewed up. Black would tend to stand out.

                  Agreed 100%.

A commander in a coupla stands out in Black.
Might be good for oil stains but behaved poorly in a serious battlefield enviroment.
Remember the SS invented battlefield camouflage uniforms and its carried on in every army to this day.
Black in my opinion was a peacetime concept that was updated with cammo after post battle reports were analized and the uniform drew more fire than wanted.

If you think the W-SS blurred edge combination is hard to find, try finding the ultra rare Heer model:

Im confused. I thought it was proven blurred edge trousers exist.

Those are the experimental pattern/Panzer Meyer version currently being referenced in another thread about the field-gray equivalent. Not quite the same version.

I thought Beaver's book established that full blurred edge factory uniforms were known, in both panzer cut and the infantry cut(?).

There have definitely been pics of blurred edge pants posted on the WAF (maybe even in Kammoman's camo threads). There is also a pair photo'd in the Europa SS Camo book, from the La Gleize museum.

I thought Beaver established them as well.
