Panzermeyer's camo jacket - fieldgrey equivalent?

We all know the famous blurred edge camo jacket worn by Kurt Meyer in normandie.

Today i saw pics of a fieldgrey jacket in both same cut and material mix:

Wow. Same cut of pieces for sure. Strange mix of cotton and wool is it? Never seen anything like that tunic before.

Interesting that the camo piece has a six button front while the new find looks to be five buttons.

The jacket Meyer is wearing in the Normandy photo doesn't have the additional sleeve panels of subject piece or the book illustration piece.
