It’s same as a topic starter. The known cloth for such a tab moleskin, felt, “W” weave wool, and latewar cotton. Such a cloth shown by me has been used on hi end private purchased tunics bu used on the tab face down and rougher side face. I see all the same characteristics which make me doubts. All the answers located inside of the tab anyway

It isn’t the same as my tab in the original post, I think you’ll find in this case with comparison between your fake tab and my original tab... you are mistaken...

The fact that you will not post the buckram from the tab you dissembled does not make sense ? Please show us the buckram in these new fakes you say are around so we can see them and have a record here of WAF.

From what I see, the first tab does not have much in common with the fake tab but does have many similarities with Jamie's tab.

I still believe the 1st tab is good, I believe the recent fakes have bad buckram, which is easily identified, I think some of the issues may have came from the Regan thread a year or so ago, ( But as we now know he was a fraudster)

Another mint tab, from M Stiles site ( I hope he does not mind me copying the picture) Again imo a good tab

Yes exactly the same border thread as the one espenlaub posted... thankyou for posting this as another reference, you can clearly see the original tab I posted has no resemblance to this tab or espenlaubs tab.
